ABOUT US

The Parents Teacher Association (PTA) provides a structure through which the parents/guardians of children attending St. Anne's can work together with the staff for the best possible education for their children. Every parent/guardian of a child attending St Anne’s automatically becomes a member of the PTA. All teaching staff also members of the PTA. The PTA works with the Principal, staff and Board of Management to build an effective partnership of home and school.  The full aims of the PTA are listed in our Constitution.

It organizes a number of events through the school year - for a full list of the PTA's activities in 2014-15, see the report on the 2015 AGM. 

PTA events include:

• “Play in the Park” for all Junior Infants and their Parents/Guardians
• Children’s Christmas Party in the School
• Confirmation & Communion Events
• Graduation Support

We meet one evening per month with a follow-on meeting between the chairperson and the Principal, Mr Halligan, where we raise issues and put forward ideas.
