Our much loved Principal, Mr Jim Halligan, retired in June at the end of the last school year after 31 years in St. Annes, the last five as Principal. He returned on 25 November where he said goodbye to the pupils at his last Assembly - and then to parents at a reception hosted by the PTA. Here are a few shots from an emotional morning - and as always the best is last!
The PTA would like to thank Mr. Halligan for his enormous contribution to the School during his long teaching career and to wish him a long and active retirement - particularly his
writing for children, his
painting and his gardening.
